The MND Foundation raised an incredible £140,000 in its first seven months, thanks to the generosity and support of its growing community.
Making early progress
This early support has helped the Foundation begin making a real difference for people affected by motor neurone disease.
In its first seven months, the Foundation has been developing a local NHS MND Care Centre, launching peer support for newly diagnosed people, supporting essential research and strengthening care across MND hubs.
Supporting the Foundation’s mission
These areas reflect the Foundation’s wider mission: to help people living with MND and their families receive better care, clearer guidance and stronger support from diagnosis through to end of life.
Thank you for being part of the journey
None of this progress would be possible without the people who have donated, fundraised, attended events, shared the Foundation’s work and helped raise awareness.
As the Foundation looks ahead, this early milestone provides a strong platform to continue closing gaps and raising the standard of support for people affected by MND.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
