Steve was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in December 2018. Since then, he has become a committed voice for people living with MND, using his own experience to help highlight where care, support, guidance and information need to improve.
Steve has worked in the insurance broking sector for more than 40 years and is currently Chairman of the Specialty business at PIB Group. Alongside his professional career, he has dedicated himself to supporting research, raising awareness and helping others affected by MND.
Having experienced first-hand both the strengths and gaps in MND care, Steve founded the MND Foundation to help ensure that everyone diagnosed with MND can access the best possible support, wherever they live in the UK.
