Louise’s husband, Marcus, was diagnosed with MND in 2022. Since then, she has gained first-hand experience of the emotional, practical and administrative challenges families can face while adjusting to life after diagnosis.
Alongside her work as an account manager in the wholesale sector, Louise has worked tirelessly to raise awareness and funds through The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. She is also a trustee of the charity and has helped to raise £1 million to date.
Louise knows how difficult it can be to find clear answers and appropriate support when families need them most. She supports the MND Foundation because she shares its determination to improve the support available to people affected by MND.
