Liane has worked in the charity sector for 10 years and most recently led the growth of Challenging MND as its CEO.
Through her work with the MND community, Liane recognised the need for new initiatives that could provide practical support, clearer guidance and better care for people living with MND and their families. Together with Steve Redgwell, whose lived experience has helped shape the Foundation’s purpose, this led to the formation of the Motor Neurone Disease Foundation.
Liane also brings strong commercial and networking experience from her earlier career in the City. She is passionate about making a meaningful difference for people affected by MND, a disease with no cure and an average prognosis of just 27 months.
