Ask Sarah Breitsprecher a question

Sarah is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor with a warm, compassionate and practical approach to supporting others. After more than three decades working as an Executive Assistant, she now brings her organisation, determination and positive “can do” attitude to helping people through challenging situations.

Sarah’s brother-in-law was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2025, which motivated her to become actively involved in supporting people affected by MND.

She is passionate about helping families feel heard and understood, encouraging open conversations and raising greater awareness of the condition. Sarah also supports the Foundation’s ambition to improve care and support for people living with MND and their families.

“Look at how far mental health awareness has come simply by talking. Those conversations have sparked real change. We must raise our voices just as loudly for MND to secure the greater awareness and investment needed to slow down this cruel disease.”
